Deniz studied law at University College London prior to joining IGS as a Data Protection Advisor. During his time at university, Deniz shadowed public law barristers, participated in Covington & Burling LLP’s mentoring programme, and volunteered as a Social Security Law Representative with the Free Representation Unit. He has competed in and judged UCL Law Society’s negotiation competitions and represented UCL in a national human rights moot court. Outside of his academic studies, Deniz also trained in classical ballet for 8 years.
