Giulia is a data protection advisor at IGS, She holds an LL.B in International and EU Law as well as an LL.M in Technology and Data.
It was during a legal internship at a tech company that her interest in Data Protection really took hold. Seeing how privacy and technology intersected in practice convinced her to dive deeper into the field, leading her to move to London to complete her Master’s at the London School of Economics (LSE).
Now at IGS, Giulia handles projects that match her own international background. She is particularly interested in the evolving legal landscape of AI and its role in medicine, areas where the rules are still being written. She’s at her best when things are fast-paced, enjoying the challenge of a tight deadline and the process of working through complex problems as part of a team. She speaks Italian and Spanish in addition to English, reflecting her international background and allowing her to work comfortably across jurisdictions and cultures.
Outside of the office, Giulia spends her time crocheting, mostly to justify her ever-growing collection of yarn. As an Italian, she also loves cooking for her friends, largely because she has very specific standards for how pasta should be made and doesn’t quite trust anyone else to get it right.
