Alysha studied law and graduated from the Senior Status LLB program at SOAS, University of London prior to joining IGS as a Data Protection Advisor. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice from the University of British Columbia. Alysha is passionate about using the law as a catalyst for social change and has volunteered her time at the University of London Refugee Law Clinic. Her multi-disciplinary background underpins Alysha’s commitment to equity, ensuring that clients act in accordance with best practices and handle data ethically. In her free time, Alysha enjoys reading and weightlifting.
